A friend of mine needs a 3.0A 250V fuse for his amp. Local hardware store is sold out. Looking online it seems a pack of 5 costs around $6. But then you add shipping and it is another $5 to $15 depending on the site. But Amazon has a pack of 20 made by Bojack for $7 with free shipping. Generally I like to give small businesses the business, but shipping seems high for a pack of fuses. Any reason not to trust the Amazon Bojack fuses?

Any Home Depots or Lowes nearby? I have purchased fuses from HD before and have had no issues with them. Also try Ace Hardware or True Value.

There seems to have been a run on the 3A fuses at all the local HD and Lowes. At a certain point its easier to order them online than drive 25+ miles.

its easier
yep, pretty soon you'll just be wired to the computer; "think 3A fuse, walla"
I use the electrical contractor store when the big-boxes are out, i'd rather jump in the car, arm out the window, music jammin then EVER think about on-line shopping

Would you trust Bojack condoms or heart medication etc from Amazon?
