Title: Big problem with deluxe reverb 65

Hi,

I´m trying to fix a deluxe reverb, the issue is that turn up the reverb make a lot of hiss, the hiss only come down when I disconnect the reverb tank..

some ideas?

Also If I remove V4 noise dissapear and If I remove v3 noise still there.

I try with a new V4 and the noise continue.

The tank is very new, I think is correct.

Becouse old one doesnt sound and the tremolo doesnt sound too.

Now works but with this noise

Try another cable set. OK to borrow from your sound system.

BTW, tremolo issue is likely not related to reverb issue.

Ok, i will try another cables..

Yes, I know tremolo must be another think but I didnt found it yet... tubes are new

Also try a snubber cap on the return from the reverb tank like Fender used in the 70's. That's what that cap was there for.

2000pF is the same as .002µF. If cables and/or this cap don't fix this issue you need another tank. It seems like I see lots of issues with new tanks these days.

Ok, I order one good RCA shielded cable to try it, the two 12AT7 are this one "TAD ECC81/12AT7-Cz" could be problematic this tube for reverb?

First of all, can you confirm that this amp has already worked perfectly? No hiss?

Secondly, has this amp ever been repaired by another person ?

And finally, show us a good photo of the circuit. I suspect somes wires are misplaced.
