This pretty much pegs my way of doing things

Yup - I'm pretty much there too, although I am nowhere near as creative as Doug.
I'm guessin that a lot of folks here share many of these traits. Knitters have Stitch & Bitch clubs - I know of no soldering clubs
I think of the other things I like to do, or did when I was younger.
I did not cotton to team sports - took up and still love skiing, biking, and fishing. My dog is my fishing companion.
I ride a motorcycle with a solo seat. I drive a 2 seat sportscar and when I ask my wife if she wants to ride along, I am usually happier when she says no. (she does not visit this forum)
I used to hike/mountain climb a lot with friends. But I would always lag behind alone. When we reached the summit, they would brag about how they beat the guidebook time, and I would ask if they saw the owl or the Pileated Woodpecker. They never did.
Oh yeah - and when I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself.

Hey Doug,
Kudos for coming out with this. Totally agree!!
I came across this book Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain (https://www.amazon.com/Quiet-Power-Introverts-World-Talking/dp/0307352153/ref=sr_1_10?crid=1K9GAR2PSTLCI&keywords=quiet+the+power+of+introverts+in+a+world+that+can%27t+stop+talking+book&qid=1694465590&sprefix=Quiet%3A+The+Power+of+Introverts+in+a+World+That+Can%27t+Stop+Talking%2Caps%2C172&sr=8-10) last year which nailed it for me. It was like reading about myself.
Definitely worth a read.
She also does a TED talk. (https://www.ted.com/talks/susan_cain_the_power_of_introverts)
Introverts rock!! :icon_biggrin:

solitude allows you to free yourself from these pseudo truths

Me too...
I have always hoped that heaven is not as crowded as I think it might be :-)
Interesting to see #3 Empathy here, the less you spend with people seemingly the lower the empathy score as it seems you need people to be and show empathy. Tough to do alone...
#8 Intuition had a typo (around the 3:48 time). Part of the focus us alone people have :-)
