Title: Hot rod deluxe conversion
Post by: Bautista392 on September 01, 2023, 04:18:45 pm
Hello, I'm trying to replace my hot rod deluxe board with something more reliable and less burney, I'm thinking of keeping the transformers, (Output, power, and choke), and reusing my 6l6's and ecc83's, potentiometers, and chassis and completely rebuilding or buying a complete board new but I wanted to ask how much I would be spending on parts realistically.
I was thinking of converting the amplifier to an early vibrolux reverb but instead as a 1-12.
I do not want to build a new cab because the one I have right now is a limited chocolate brown Tolex wheat mesh

so if anyone can help me out, I can sort of read schematics but I have experience working on the amp itself.

If this amp had been maintained (and repaired) by a qualified technician, it would be perfectly reliable. Your project won't be easy to carry out and if it is possible to do so
