Title: Replicate tube stage with LND150's
Post by: joesatch on September 07, 2023, 02:06:40 pm
Can these stages be replicated with LND's?  wrong answers only. I want to avoid using a tube for this output stage as it is only for boosting the level, not part of the preamp

OK, I think I can provide a wrong answer; only if shaken, not stirred.

ok i replaced the triodes with LND's the result is quite good although less bass (i guess just cleaner) than the triode and output is considerably higher. i will need to play with the voltage divider to get the output manageable.  I will go with this. there is some mention of using diodes to protect the transistor and possibly a 200R resistor somewhere but i'm unsure where.
