Title: New head cab for my 5E3
Post by: JPK on October 07, 2023, 04:25:09 pm
I finally got a cab for this thing (Boothill kit I built last winter). It's made of pine by rawcabs on eBay. Not cheap but I liked the cab. He kind of botched it a little bit. Not sure what he was thinking but it would not fit snug to the face the way he built it. Sent him some pics of it and asked how it was supposed to work. Then I said f' it, let's finish this. I will only attach one pic per post since they have size limits. I used Ebony stain by Varathane. A few coats of Varathane poly.

Slucky I used a suggestion from you on another amp build....the aluminum foil tape on the bottom of the amp because the chassis bottom is open. Very cool idea. Thanks again.
