 what's a varistor ?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In some Magnatone guitar amps they use a Varistor to get real VIBRATO (not tremlo) When I look at the schematic in Aspen Pittman 4.1 Tube Amp Book page 559 I realize that its is some kind of phaseshift. But to my knowlage a varistor is a voltage depending devise... but I cant figure out how a small voltage change (from the phaseshift oscillator) can change the resistance of the "varistor".... OR????
