After building 9 plexi's to sell, decided to build one to keep. This one incorporates all my favorite mods. Uses 6EY6 output tubes to pull the filament voltage down to 6.6 volts. I have used a 12AY7 PI a la Merlin. Capacitor values fine tuned to reduce excessive bass from the normal channel. Tonemaster Tone stack. The chassis is a Hammond 1550J diecast box that was powdercoated after metalwork. The dual gang Post PI master really works to allow crunch preamp grind at low volume.

Nice looking amp. Can we see some gutshots? And a schematic?

The amp is built on a Hoffman turretboard and follows the Huss/Hoffman Schematic except for component variations which are shown on the .diy layout. There is an added 100pF 3kV ceramic on the bright preamp from cathode to Plate, I always add this to suppress any Parasitic oscillation . A mains filter on the right hand side eliminates Noises coming in from the power line...clicks,pops, Solar inverter noises etc.
