Title: Sanity check: Transformer orientation
Post by: Diverted on October 28, 2023, 12:24:54 pm
I don't know why I keep re-thinking this, other than that I don't use chokes too often. Any opinions on orientation? Thanks.

That looks pretty typical to me, maybe even spaced a little further apart than typical...?

On occasion, I have had that nagging doubt myself & did the headphone test so I could be sure & move on.

It would be helpful to see where the tubes will be.

How does this look with respect to tranformer placement/orientation, adjacent to the tubes? A commenter had asked for a photo. Thanks!
