being in the north country, necessity becomes the inspiration
1st snow today, need to get mine into the garage for a motor swap, bushings, lube
so what's the guy with the amp get out of it?

my Dad was a year old when the 3 panel chart came out.
by the time I was learn'n 'bout Resistors it had evolved/de-volved to what bad boys did behind victory garden walls, :laugh:

Well my eyes went to what appears to be a Ric Flying Pan and amp. Don't know how many times I've researched history on the electric guitar and amp.Tickled me that on the amp head shown, all the tubes and transformers were exposed. If I remember correctly the Flying Pan and amp had been out a couple of years by then.
We don't think about snow plows very much here in Louisiana:>)
On the resistor code/colors, I have to re-train myself every time I do a project

since the resistors got a make-over circa '90s and blue became the body color, I don't even bother, i just ohm them out bag them up, label.
orange isn't orange, green isn't green.... :cussing:
