Title: Tube preamp EQ bypass switch
Post by: joedonchev on January 27, 2024, 10:03:54 am
Hi,

Can I put a switch to bypass the EQ section in the clean channel of my Preavey Rockmaster Preamp?

Here is the EQ portion:

Yes. May be easier to just use a SPST switch to open the ground connection though. You get pretty much the same effect.

This works very well on my AB lite amp.
It is very simple to do (and remove if you'd want to). Makes the amp a lot louder though.
