Remember when you could tick a box on a coupon and get info on wire for missiles? On submarines? Reactors?

it's kinda early to torcher one's memory like that.
salt n water and cable heads, (shells), didn't get along, so once a year you cut open the shink-wrap, disconnect the head, push the pins, inspect everything, new head, new wrap, another year.  about 4 hours ea., start to finish, times many heads!!
