Title: Dumble input jack wiring?
Post by: idsnowdog on February 14, 2024, 05:11:36 pm
I built a MOSFET boost for a project.  The amp has two inputs and one of the jacks is supposed to be a switching type to turn it on when plugged into one of the inputs.  However,  I don't see a schematic showing how to wire open frame jacks.

I see the wiring for enclosed jacks but not open jacks.  This is the booster I built which is taken from the Nana schematic.

The open-frame aka wafer-style jacks don't have the same switch configuration as do the plastic type.

They are not direct substitutes.

This might help.

Added:  Green goes to FET bd input
Blue is the FET signal out

Thanks that clarifies many things.
