Guitar input jack, fitting in a 0.118 inch chassis. All I can find is the Switchcraft, S1029 which won't do.
Is there anything available?
Cheers.

You need TWO shoulder washers to insulate a Switchcraft jack. Hoffman sells them.

Hi,
Thought one shoulder washer on the inside of the chassis and a flat washer on the outside, unless using an insulating face plate. The chassis I'm making is 3mm aluminium, so the Switchcraft shoulder washer too small. Am thinking perhaps the way to go is using fibre washers, which I think would be more compressible than plain plastic ones. Can get them 1.5mm, stack two together, to fit in jack hole.
Cheers.

No more headache with a Cliff jack.

That would work with a thinner gauge chassis but not on one that is 3mm.
Thanks anyway.

If I have a shoulder washer on the outside as well as the inside. Attaching some type of faceplate to the chassis, might be a problem? Unless I attach some tiny spacers beneath the faceplate. Also the jack I have, isn't a long thread version.

For that chassis thickness you need the long bushing Switchcraft jack L12A

I design and print my own face plates using a free program available to all on thick paper with 1/16" clear plastic (bought at Home Depot) over the thick paper. So, I have to use the long Switchcraft threads as Dummyload posted above, pots can be a problem but my chassis aren't 3mm thick.
If using two insulating bushings on the jack leaves a gap between the bushings, the chassis won't touch the jack threads, look at Sluckey's posted picture again.
