Title: 6G15 + Tremodrive
Post by: J3ona1 on March 10, 2024, 04:07:50 pm
Hi everyone,

I have a revibe chassis but I want to use the tremodrive circuit in place of the harmonic trem, but I have a few questions. (both schematics are attached.)

Could I just take the output of the 6G15 and attach it to the input of the tremodrive circuit?
Would I have to add a 5k resistor to the plate supply of the 6v6 to get the B+ down to the 210 volts needed for the tremodrive circuit?
Would I have to up the value of the 47k at the grid of the first stage  of the tremodrive circuit, since its expecting guitar level input?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

If they were fully-built separate units, you would just plug one into the other, right?

And even the NOTE suggests all voltages are 20% slop, so 210V and 250V are all the same, no? (The 210V comes from not using a proper power transformer but misusing a 120V winding.)
