This Tune is Stranger Stranger from the Bad Company Holy Water CD.
Bad Company features one of the finest voices in Rock, Paul Rodgers.
I ripped the Drum, Bass and Vocal tracks from my Bad Company CD using RipX.
I pasted them into my DAW and did all the guitar parts.
I did two doubled rhythm tracks and one lead track

That was great! One of my favorite bands. Like someone else said, "I don't listen to Bad Company every day, but when I do, so do all my neighbors." So true. When my daughter was 10 she was on a softball team named Bad Company. Guess what their theme song was. Now do my favorite...

Thanks guys.
Just having some fun making another backing track.
Since getting RipX, I have been having fun making backing tracks that are fun to play along with

Yes, great voice, great song!
Bought that album back in high school. Another song from that album that shows off Rogers' voice is Don't Let Me Down, love it.

Doug,
Is RipX reasonably easy to use? Is it time consuming to rip/edit a song? Just curious how hard and time involved it is?
Respectfully, Jeff
-
No, it's really easy.
Do you still use Mixcraft?
I have some new video screen capture software to make Youtube videosI was going to make a RIPX and Mixcraft video
-
Yes, I still use Mixcraft Acoustica all these years. You turned me on to it and it's very user friendly, IMO.
I'd love to see a video of using Mixcraft & RipX
Thanks, Jeff
-
Ok, I will work on the video and post it here when it is ready
Which version of Mixcraft do you haveDoes not matter, just curious
I am still using Mixcraft 9

That is a VERY cool program! Once I saw on the video how RipX worked ............ I knew how to load it up in Mixcraft Acoustica and make this idea work.
That is amazing technology! You did a great job putting together that video and explaining it. Well done!
I really appreciate you putting together this video. Very helpful! Thanks, Jeff

RipX can do so much more but that's all I need it to do
I should have picked a better song that had a guitar track, but the video is easy to understand how it is done.
