I would like to build a Valvecaster pedal except with three tubes. They would all be 12AU7s but one would be parallel, one series, and one cascoded. Each stage would be a testbed to refine component values and configurations for use elsewhere. This is the basic design I came up with yesterday. Although my schematic shows them in series I think running them in parallel with an on/off switch for each would work best. I'm not sure of my gain control configuration though. Any recommendations?
