Title: Hot Rod Deluxe European to American conversion help
Post by: sdlmoab on May 19, 2024, 08:24:11 pm
I'm looking to convert a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe (the original version) from European to USA specs so it can run off 120v.

It appears that the European transformer (047395) can be re-wired to run at 100v, but that would push all the secondary voltages up by 20% which I don't think is a good idea.

The American transformer (from what I can gather) is 036958.

My issue is that the replacement Hot Rod Deluxe transformers available online seem to have different voltages, and I don't know which is correct.
I could definitely use some help figuring out which is the correct one!

They all look good to me.
