Title: LDR testing Mesa Boogie
Post by: joesatch on June 12, 2024, 01:59:17 pm
Is there a process for testing these?  Continuity testing wont work. I've measured the resistance between the poles when the LDR receives +/- 1.5vdc. When not activated i'm getting 10M when active i get 2.7k. I have another which just reads very inconsistent activated 10M not activated 1M (but not always). How do i determine what LDR's are bad?

due to what the ldr's are connected to i believe these must be tested out of circuit?

I would disconnect only the two LDR legs if possible. Then there will be nothing in parallel with the LDR. Resistance should be very high or fairly low.
