Title: Modern equivalents to K120s or A417s
Post by: fossilshark on June 22, 2024, 12:58:12 am
Hi all, was just wondering if anyone knew if there are any speakers currently in production that sound like JBL K120s or Altec 417-8H? These are my dream speakers but at $400 a pop and usually requiring a re-cone I can't exactly afford a set of 8 for my full stack

The Weber California 12 is patterned after the JBL. I do not have the 12, but have a reconed JBL 15 and a Weber Cal 15. They sound alike to me.
