Hello all! I was browsing the forum recently, and was about to reply to a thread, when I realized I didn't have an account here yet! I've been reading along for ages, and somehow failed to join up until now. Oh well, crisis averted!
Anyhow, about me: bass player and vintage amp junkie with more projects in the pipeline than I'm likely to get to in my finite time on this rock. Next up in the queue is a Davis model 200 PA head that I picked up a while ago, got it going with some new electrolytics, but it sounds fairly awful in stock form. If I can't breathe a little life into it with a few better components, I'm thinking about building a Gibson GA-8T circuit in this chassis (tube complement is identical, should be straightforward.)
