Title: somedays
Post by: shooter on July 16, 2024, 07:16:09 pm
about midnight last, a micro burst hit, blew my window fan 3FT into the room, n this.  I've "studied" how to drop that tree for about a year, n a helping "HAND" takes the guess work outta it.  anything left for 180 degrees n the house would took a hit.  right, the tank mighta ruptured.

the in-feed copper, I ran in ~~'97, was screeched banjo tight, pulled regulator loose from tank, no leaks! (pic after tank guys cut line n tagged out tank)
thanks to the County guys and front-end loader, road cleared, cut'n at leisure!

15' is close,
I've taken out all the big trees < 50' from house over the last 4 years, this problem was the last.  Got 1 more inside 50' but it's "aimed" away from all the structures, probably drop it this fall n hire the neighbor to board it out, (he works cheap:) blue spruce about 20" diameter n 60' tall n straight

least the house is no longer in danger, I have this year, next year, and 1/2 the year after worth of wood, so I think plumbing my summer kitchen is in order!
