Title: Xvive Optocoupler

I want to install Slucky's Trem-o-nator in an AB763 amp. There are no markings on the Xive, only a + mark. Hooked it up the way I thought it should be but it is not working. May have toasted this one, so how do I install? Which lead is what?

In my experience, actual Xvive VTL5C1 units are marked. 

It gets confusing, because many of the clones (of the clone) are unmarked.   And Tubesandmore sells a vactrol that they allege is Xvive but is not marked, though the data sheet clearly has markings.  I dunno.

If you test each side for diode status, you can figure out what is what.
