I like Sarah Silverman's take on woke:

"I think we’re just communicating wrong, because, like, what I know ‘woke’ to mean is, like, learning new things about people or the world, and then acting accordingly. Like, basic kindness. I like Sarah as a comedian many years ago, but she has her own definition of Woke
Which she can do but the experts in psychology say other wise
