Love the handshake meme. I always try to do all business on a handshake basis. Became harder when my business grew to a staff of 80 :icon_biggrin:
When our clients increasingly shifted to utilities and governmental orgs with all their rules and paperwork, I was more than happy to exit. A few years ago I bought a 50 acre woodlot on a handshake. The seller was a bit shocked when I said, "a handshake is good enough for me." A month later we closed and the lawyer had a huge stack of papers to sign. :BangHead:

most of the genX adopted the fist-bump during the stupid years, that works for me because the "tell' is still in the eyes
the last 20+ years, I haven't asked guvmint for permission (permits, licensee, etal)
