Working on a `6YO Fender Deluxe Reverb RI that is experiencing crackling and loud noises after it warms up a bit. One of the power tubes was redplating so I pulled both and the one that did not redplate, tested marginal while the other one is shorted out. Will replace and bias the 6V6s but was wondering if I should be looking at anything else? The amp sounded good for the first minute or so. Should I pull the chassis and do a voltage check while waiting to get the tubes?
Thanks, Dan

If you make it that far without "installing" 2 more problem, NO, leave well enough alone! :icon_biggrin:

OK, will replace the tubes. Everything else looks good, no bulging filter caps etc. The chassis is marked 2002 and it looks like these are the original power tubes so they are way past their life.
