Hello! My professional experience is UNIX sysadmin and my hobby is playing electric guitar and analog audio & electronics.
I love 70s and 80s rock and metal, and had my first guitar tube amplifier (a Laney Cub 12R clone) last year. It sounds amazing! Since then I found some inspiration that has let me improve playing guitar and start to learn cool solos.
Now I want to learn to maintain and make sure my amps work properly, so I got a bias probe and joined this forum since it seems the place I was looking for! I also build analog pedals as a hobby, but tube amps are more interesting.
