Hey guys, I'm in the final steps of assembling a 5e3 I've thrown together & realized there is a single piece I'm missing. As I live in a Podunk town & don't really want to wait for shipping, is there anything I can substitute, or a way around needing that Silver Mica Cap that runs between the tone & volume pot? Any help would be appreciated!

It doesn't need to be silver mica. And with where it is in the circuit the voltage rating could be almost anything.
If you have two 250pF caps laying around put them in parallel. Or if you have a 470pF ceramic that'll work just fine.
Alternatively you can leave it out and disconnect the tone pot wiper. Then you'll have two identical channels with no tone control.

Thanks so much! Exactly what I needed to know! Now I can get by while im deciding whether to order the correct cap or try a different tone stack altogether. Any recommendations?

My recommendation is to build it to print and adjust after playing it a while.
