Title: "bleeder" resistor from primary fuse
Post by: scstill on July 31, 2025, 01:39:56 pm
I'm working on a Cordovox conversion. https://stillampd.com/cordovox

The original schematic does not show it, but the original as built design had a 100k resistor from fuse to ground. Had a 2-prong AC cable.

Gemini says this could be a "bleeder" to ground or for static discharge. Is this right? How would it work?

I've never seen this. As I move to a three prong power cable do I still keep this resistor?
Pic shows the 3 prong upgrade with 100k off fuse.

Not needed.
