Title: Another Noob question
Post by: Dealbreaker on October 14, 2025, 11:25:57 am
Hello- This board has been an amazing source of knowledge.  I am not a design guy, and don't work as an electronics engineer.  I'm just a hobbyist and I really enjoy the new (to me) world of tube amps.  I'm sure I am not the only lurker who appreciates the info found here.
I don't like to bother with simple questions, but the schematic below has me stumped.  How does the anode of V1b get its operating (B+3) voltage?  I see it at V1a...Is there some other path through the tube I'm not aware of?  Or is it unnecessary in this configuration? Thanks!

Thanks for the link.  I was sure it was correct, but couldn't get my head around it.  Should have looked closer on VW's site!
Appreciate the help.
