Hello everyone. Is it possible to add a depth\intensity control to a Valco 1224 without adding another triode while also keeping the tremolo on the first gain stage(for example: without using the type of circuit found on the Fender 6G2)?

Look at the Marshall 18 watt amp...

Thanks. Good idea but still adds a triode.

May be that instead of a triode you can add a MOSFET as CS (Common-Source Amplifier - or Simply Gain Stage) and follow the proposed schematic
Other thing you can try is to use a MOSFET as SF connecting it after the oscillator you have on the Valco

EDIT:
May be you can borrow from the GA40 Les Paul

Not so. V3A is the preamp and V3B is the oscillator. Exactly what you asked for.

If only someone would write a book about this sort of thing, with this exact answer on page 162, fig. 8.11

SEL49 you are right. I stand corrected.
