Do you guys know if the INTERNAL OFF switch on the back of a Behringer GX212 PHYSICALLY disconnect the twin 12" internal speakers from the rest of the amp? I found diagrams for the GMX212 on here but I am not sure if the two models are close enough for that diagram to suffice. Google says the GX212 doesn't have the extensive jack panel that the GMX212 has but the one I got has MIDI, REC lines, EX SPKR jacks, headphone etc. The switch "feels" like it could be a disconnect switch and not something that just tells an IC to mute the signal. :dontknow:

without a schematic, guessing is a waste. that said;
with NO POWER, unplugged, remove the internal speaker wires n put an ohm meter across the disconnected speaker wires. Does the meter read any ohms???
IF SO; flip the switch in question, does that reading change???
