Judybox was a short-lived amp company in Texas. This is one of the stripped out “Revival” amp husks they sold off when the company folded in about 2014. The transformers work great. I built a series of 6V6 cathode biased amps in this chassis, and you can find a number of examples on the internet of others who also built successful projects with them.
The pictures show it with the breadboard style circuit board I used. You could drill it for eyelets or turrets but you would probably want to start from scratch with a new layout and board. I drilled a couple extra holes for some reverb jacks and banana jacks for 1 ohm test resistors. The power switch (original) should be replaced. It works but it shows the sketchy quality that apparently killed the company.
The cab has a few nicks in the tolex. Should be easy to repair with glue. Comes with a rudimentary top-loading DIY head cab.
Comes with 2 of the Judybox “Black Betty” speakers, which have a fairly low 94 dB sensitivity.
For parts or repair. Local sale only. Must be picked up in Seattle, WA. Cash only.
