Title: Fuse size question
Post by: Diverted on December 11, 2025, 04:15:36 pm
Hi all,

I'm building a 12W 6V6 push pull circuit, rectifier is a bridge as there is no center tap.
I like to fuse the center tap on the secondaries, but with this one having none, I'm guessing I need to fuse one or both HV AC legs. My question: Approximately what size slow blow fuse should I be looking for? I generally use 500ma to fuse center tap to ground.

Thank you!

IMO, one fast blow fuse twice the HT current with the amp at full output.
