Title: VHT push/pull volume pot
Post by: dsones on February 05, 2026, 09:24:39 am
I need to replace the push/pull volume pot on a VHT special 6 ultra.  The original dpdt push/pull pot had a small pcb attached to the six pins of the switch modifying how the switch works.  I broke the pcb so I need to wire the push/pull pot to work like the pot worked with the pcb attached.  Does anyone know exactly what the pcb board does?  I know the pcb connects the two sides of the switch together and does something to ground.  Thanks

EDIT:

On the Robinette Special6 there is a photo of the Vol pot and .... no PCB

For connection look to the image and to the schematic on the link

Yes there is a little board sitting on top of the push/pull volume switch.  The board slides over the pins.  The board alters how the switch works.  I've attached a photo.
