Hello, guys.
I want to build an amp for testing pedals. What you recommend?
PWR ~30W
Best regards

I would use my Fender AB763 Deluxe Lite II.

If you want more than 20W, just use bigger transformers and 6L6s.

That's a nice build doc. A clean Fender style amp is great pedal tester.

Just to note that the AB763 Deluxe tonestack used a 47nF mid cap; a very swift revision from the 33nF mid cap of the AA763 :)
It wasn't until the Deluxe of 1990s (Hot Rod  ) that it was changed to 22nF.
I get the impression for amps intended for use with 12" speakers, Fender preferred a 47nF mid cap, but preferred 22nF in amps intended for use with 10" speakers.

By all means build something, but for maximum flexibility I like the older solid state Peaveys for pedal testing. Many have a power amp in for preamps, and the sweepable mids makes the preamp capable of being similar to many other topologies. An old Renown lives in shop for testing all kinds of things for this reason.
