Title: is there a way to remove ads/support the forum by paying??

I recall this being an option at one time...unless I am not remembering right.

Use Ad blockers
On PC and Firefox, I use Adblock plus - free
On Android and Firefox I use AdGuard - free

You gotta love this.   The owner of the site, presumably the beneficiary of the ad income, telling us how to block the ads.

The built in ad blockers in the Brave Browser does a good job also.
They also go undetected blocking ads on the youTube too

If you get a custom board from Doug, a few small lid hinges and you'll be able to craft your own and still support the site  :icon_biggrin:
