Hey what do you meter experts think of this find at a local pawn shop? Total cost $52.40. Im off online to see if i got a good deal. I think so. Man iove been through i believe 4 meters in the past 3 months. Loosechange i see your meter died. Let me check these out online to see if they are real decent meters. The Beckman is the one i have quality questions about. Fluke is $179.00 http://www.mymeterstore.com/p1348/fluke_73-iii.php

WOW! Finally i have trust again in my testing abilitys. I thought i was going crazy or doing some thing wrong for all the other (4) meters ive had floating all over the place when reading. Actually im both crazy and have done things wrong probably to contribute to my meter problems but i dont want to think so.......

Excellent deal on the Fluke: the 73III is a very reliable workhorse.

Nice to hear about the Fluke. AMEN! If i recall the Beckman was a top of the line meter as well in it's day. Maybe not this one but the name rings a bell and they are or were an Industrial Manufacturer

Ditto on the Fluke deal. The 73 is a very fast, accurate, and safe meter. It will serve you well for years to come.

That is a great deal. I used to be a maintenance electrician at a local mine. The 73 is all I used until I got my 87 III. They are very reliable. I dropped mine in acid, grease, oil, everything but vomit and the thing still works.
