  EL34LS Tube bias current
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Hi

Ive got a matched quad of EL34LS's tubes from Groovetubes who state that these are rated at 30W and not the standard 25W that typically power Marshall amps.

What should I bias these too?

Any help or advice would be appreicated!

Thanks
Brandon

Those are JJ E34L. You can try biasing then to 21 watts (70% of 30 watts).

That would be 46mA if your plate voltage is 450v. Watch for orange plates.

If they sound good at a cooler setting, leave them there and the they will last longer.
