...but mighty energetic video-editing!! !! !!
The overture to The Marriage of Figaro (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Marriage_of_Figaro) is scored for two flutes, two oboes, two clarinets, two bassoons, two horns, two trumpets, timpani, and strings; the recitativi are accompanied by a keyboard instrument, usually a fortepiano or a harpsichord, often joined by a cello.
And Mozart wrote scores with a machine-gun.
MysteryGuitarMan does not have 26 hands; and few fretters can keep up with a fortepiano's spray of short notes. Instead he collated all the vertical chords into 1-3 guitar tabs, filmed some of each, sliced to quarter notes and then to 16th notes.... and pasted all the bitty-bits together.

Wow! That's incredible. I'm continually amazed at the ingenuity of some people and what they're able to pull off. I only wish I had that kind of time.

SAME IDEA HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzqumbhfxRo&eurl=http://thewombforums.com/showthread.php?t=10087&feature=player_embedded).
This one is the first one of these I saw, though I wouldn't swear that no one had though of it before.
Just imagine if they'd had to do the editing on negative instead of in a computer!

Don't know why that makes me think of this guy:
37 cello parts played by 1 dude.

Somehow I knew that was going to be Ethan. You probably know, but in case you don't his company, Real Traps, (http://www.realtraps.com/) makes really great acoustic treatment products. If you ever want to improve your home recordings (if you ever make them at all) you will get much great results from buying stuff from him than from any new preamps/mics/reverbs/whatever-the-flavor-of-the-month-on-the-internet-is. After the ability of the musicians and the engineers, the sound of the room will make a bigger difference than anything else. (If you want to know how important the musicians and engineers are, consider this - all the guitars and the bass at Motown were recorded direct!)
OH! And if you haven't seen it, you should see his NSFW clinic on acoustics. I think someone linked to it here before.
