I'm far from a decent slide player, but wanted to show how down and woofy sounding the new head I built is. Guitar was a strat in the tween position (neck and middle) just to cut down a bit of noise, its not a particularly noisy head but single coils close to a amp, well you know. Recorded directly into a mr8 digital recorder, no effects using a plain ole akg mike on a short stand pointed at the middle of the speaker. Speaker is in the old 5e3 ugly green juke amp I showed a while back, its a old fender 12" out of a 2x12 90's closed cabinet and its REAL worn in. Treble is all the way up on the amp thats why its a bit bright and I'm in the bright input. EH 6v6 china ax7's sov 5y3 rect. Slide, Glass neck snapped off a old bottle (hey, its got mojo haha). Forgive the subpar playing, but it was quick and dirty, fairly loud for in the apt so I had to hurry. :D

I can't hear it.....I got the speakers turned up all the way too.. :(
EDIT: Never Mind I had to try again.
Sounds cool... You're a far better slide player than I. Nice Wet n' Greasy slide tone!

Thanks BB, thats about it for my slide ability, I can do that and maybe a little Elmore (but if you learn one riff, you got Elmore haha). Listened to Lowell George for years too, him and Paul used to trade off with Paul doing more than I thought in those Little Feat songs. Appreciate it.
