Hi,
Does somebody here know the make of Kim Mitchell's guitar in this video ? Loks like a PRS but I am not sure. The p/u lokks like DiMarzio, but again I am not totally sure. Could be PRS if the guitar is a PRS.I am looking for Hi output humbuckers to put on my flying V, but now I have seymour duncan hot rails, and though they really rock, I was wondering if I could find something hotter, no battery operated.
Thanks for any comments, suggestions.
Best regards
Colas

Looks like a music man Axis to me:

His looks like it has more knobs though, could be OLP guitars which is now out of business but looked pretty identical body wise.
Regards,
Dyna
Ps: Specs say Demarzio's who knows what he actually has in it...

you're right.....even if it looks like an original one, it could have been modded
I'll check for boutique p/u 's
Thanks, Dyna

I think it is actually a MUSIC MAN guitar. Look at the bassman, he is playin a music man . These guys are prob. sponsored by ernie ball. I'll go to Steve's music where they carry music man instrument and check that out. It could be the Steve Morse's model. What a tone Kim's got ! His playin' and his tone, how pleasant it is to hear that ! He's prob using a heavily modded Marshall amplifier........looks like a Marshall , though there is no Marshall logo. That's the tone I am after. When I get the tone, I'll learn to play... ;)
