I have a relatively new PRS that is already showing signs of tarnish on the pickup covers. It freaks me out because it has not been played much, always cleaned after playing to remove salts and stored properly. So much for super expensive guitars! What is recommended to remove the tarnish on metalized surfaces such as PU covers that is safe stuff.
Thanks in advance!

Simichrome (http://www.lmii.com/CartTwo/thirdproducts.asp?searchtext=Chrome&Submit=Quick+Search&NameProdHeader=Metal+Polish)
No promises, but it's worth a try. You can get Simichrome just about anywhere - this was just the easiest link for me to find.

Thanks Gabriel,
I will see if I can find it locally. I am going to sell this one or I wouldn't bother removing the tarnish. Thanks for hanging around here your knowledge in invaluable to dummies like me!
