Picked up a Samick Rockwell the other day. Explorer body with humbuckers and controls like a Les Paul. Got it cheap off Craigs list.
I like it a lot except I feel almost like I'm playing a bass guitar, there is a lack of treble.
This guitar goes for almost $400.00 new, which means it has no name pickups on it. They apparently make a step up version with a name brand on them.
Anyone familiar with this guitar?
Also, anyone got a case for this thing?
One reviewer of this guitar said it was a metal guitar, is that true?
Any way, for what I paid for it I'm happy with it. But if I can figure out a way to make it sound more like I want it to for little cash, why not?
Regards,
Al

O.k. so the guitar listed for 500 and sold new for 200, what do I do? Sell it? I just bought it. What if I take the pickups off my Samick Fastback and put them on the Rockwell.
No takers.
Loosechange are you gonna do any thing with your guitar? I feel the same way about mine. Let us know if you do.
As always with Respect,
Al
