Climbing Up The Ladder

I never realized these dudes shred.  They were a lot more noted for their soul music, but their funk w/ rock guitar is awesome.  I figured out the bass lines and thought my arm was gonna fall off 1/2 way through the song.  The guitar solos are tops.  I musta been 1/2 asleep in the 70's.

Yah, don't you remember hearing "Who's that Lady"

It was all over the radio back then.

Ernie Isley shredded all through that tune.

He's kind of a one trick pony, but it was cool hearing guitar shreddings back then when you weren't expecting it.

Yeah it was cool, I liked that compressed fuzz tone he had going on in 'who's that lady'. Hendrix played with them at one point right?
