I could have sworn I saw someone trying to run up behind it and catch it from behind.  As an experienced stage hand, I can tell you that is a Very Bad Idea!

That one pops up so often, I need to point out that it is a rather obvious Photoshop hack (take another look).  I've actually seen the original picture (I don't remember where), but it is a rig from a rather good engineer (again, I can't remember who - but you've probably listened to his albums).  He has a number of those brackets, and there is another mic hanging off the bottom (you can see where, if you look), and the mics never come off.  He usually uses them on full stacks, and they put on mic on the top left speaker of the bottom cab and another on the bottom left of the top cab.  That time, he was only miking a half stack, but the mics (in particular, the 421's, whose clips suck) stay in place. 

The photo is funny, but it's a fake.
