I don't think they are even diodes. I think they are poor light-bulbs, built in reject KT66 glass.

must be faux tubes to run at that price, and off 4-AA batteries at that.

Wonder how fast that plastic would melt if we wired a *REAL* tube of 7-pin or larger style.

I think I saw that tube on Cregslist

You can remove the glass to clean off the inside

You do not need glass for the tube to work
