Lowatter shared his layout and amp photo on a Hoffman thread. I thought it was a really nice job/build. So I thought I'd put it in the library here for others to consider.
With respect, Tubenit

Update to this layout...
This is the same tagboard layout with the addition of a "hot switch" that I really recommend if you want other possibilities. Tubegeek was kind enough to contact me regarding this mod and it REALLY opens up the amp and takes the gain to a another level. Also, This mod switch also allows the amp to play nearly clean at higher volume if you turn the preamp down and the power tube control up. BTW...this amp has operated flawlessly to date as of 11/2011.

Just a necro post update to say that this amp has served me flawlessly and many thanks again for all your help gentleman. I encourage anyone to try this circuit if you want a thick and creamy crunch for the power-chorder in most of us. It's not too bad clean either but it doesn't have much headroom.
A friend of mine who plays over full Marshall stacks professionally was really impressed by this design and said that it's the tone and drive he would want in a small combo. I used Ruby 12AX7's, JJ power tubes, and Sozo tone caps. Thanks again guys!

Just another necro post to say that after 8 years(where does the time go?), This amp has been issue free and I would love to have someone else build this circuit exactly as I did. You would not be disappointed and do this... :BangHead: You will do this... :guitar1
Oh and a big hello and thanks to Tubenit, Sluckey and TubeGeek!!!!! :bravo1: Been a while hasn't it?
