instrumental version of "Long Cool Woman" recorded with my mex RI tele with SD Broadcaster pickup, crybaby wah and the 30w HoSo + my homebrew BFDR. Sorry I can't do the flash player inside the post because it's on the mixcraft website.

Wow, nice Craig.
That opening Hollies Riff is one of the coolest guitar riffs on the planet.

Very nice version of that tune! Your playing is very expressive with alot of drive to it. Really enjoyed it & thanks for sharing it.
Amps sound great!
Besides mic'ing the amp and using mixcraft ............. what's your recording setup?
Best regards, Tubenit

Thanks for listening. I think the neighbors may not feel the same. I really should get Guitar Rig - it sounds fantastic, and there's nothing to set up, you're always ready to record.
My setup and recording space is really very minimal, and it has to be that way, since it is in the master bedroom. I have an m-audio interface. Cheap, but does the job. I don't like my delay plug-in, so I always "print" that, it's one of those new mxr carbon copy pedals. I often will mike the front and back of the cabinet, both SM57s. I think the most amazing thing is how TOTALLY different the recorded sound is compared to how it sounds "in person".

Craig, nice playin’, man. Mix sounds really clean too. You mentioned the need for some plug ins. You will get some miles out of these free ones.

Copy the .dll files into your VST PlugIns folder a couple at a time. Test em. If they crash your computer delete them.
The amp sim heads will need some speaker impulses. Lots of free ones. This $15 set is pretty good. Nice add on to Guitar Rig or ReValver.

Wow, that is really good. You don't hold back.
Some parts of the melody remind me of Knopfler double stop tones. Also nice stereo thing you got going on the clean rhythm.
Amazing pulloffs too.

Man Craig, I really like your stuff! Just enough edge and grit without losing the chime. Really nice playing. I was doing some paperwork today and just rotated your playlist!
Thanks for sharing.
