Title: Vintage test equipment on Craigslist

Some of this stuff is useful but needs to be rebuilt and calibrated

The cap checkers ... all techs should have one
The VTVM's ..... good for troubleshooting tremolos and leakage ... The RCA volt/ohmyst is useless since they don't make a battery for it
Nobody should be without the EICO 1140
I think the signal generators are for TV use ..... you need one you can dial for 1kHz and 250-500mVAC output

Nobody makes these bench tools anymore

Nah... You need a 1.5v battery. A C-cell fits the clip inside the case. Soldering leads on the battery to run to the circuit board is fraught with peril, but can be done. The biggest issue is that the battery will leak corrosive stuff if it sits around with the resistance function unused for a long time.
